Das instrument glänzt nd abweisend gegen Speichel und schweiß sehr zufrieden
This spray instrument cleaner seems to do the job nicely. It's easy to work with and, as long as the required job is cleaning, not polishing, it seems to work well.
Cleaning liquid in an easy spray bottle. It's not a polish, but as a cleaner it does make the brass instrument look a bit better. Good for getting rid of residue of sticky fingers.Useful that it comes as a spay in a plastic bottle.
I usually use Brasso to clean my saxophone, as I've found over the years that it's the most effective thing to bring the brass back to a nice shine as well as cleaning any tarnishing. I was interested to try this Rochix cleaner to see if does the same job. Sadly, it doesn't.This product is styled to make it look like it's from some sort of heritage company. The logo says "Rochix 1890." I very much doubt the company is that old. The description and usage instructions on the back of the bottle and box are in pure Chinglish and riddled with errors, which didn't give me much faith in the product! After trying it, I can categorically say that it's no match for Brasso for cleaning brass. The ingredients on the back say it's composed of deionized water, mineral oil and glycerine. So, it basically makes the brass look shiny, and perhaps very lightly cleans sweat and grease from your hands off your instrument. In that respect, it's of some use, but I certainly wouldn't call it a brass instrument cleaner. When you give your instrument a proper clean with Brasso, you could use this to preserve and enhance the shine, and also give it a wipe over after you've played in order to remove sweat (or sweet, as it says on the bottle!).So, while this certainly doesn't do what it advertises, it is useful. They really shouldn't call it a cleaner as it doesn't clean the brass itself or remove tarnishing. I've marked it down for that reason.
- I use this to clean my trumpet- Before getting this I had never cleaned my trumpet- Easy to use spray bottle- Makes the brass shine
